With a coaching career spanning over two decades, Lisa Mackay has dedicated her life to the world of equestrianism.
Lisa founded Highland Ridge Equestrian, driven by a vision to create a welcoming environment where riders of all levels could thrive. Her exceptional ability to rehabilitate anxious and challenging horses has become one of her defining strengths. Lisa's talent for nurturing these horses and helping them find their confidence, particularly in the world of jumping, has earned her a respected reputation in the equestrian community.
Lisa’s training philosophy centers on patience, kindness, and respect, fostering a positive environment for growth. Over the years, she has also organized and hosted BRAVE horseshows, providing opportunities for riders to showcase their talents and grow in their equestrian journey.
Her daughter, Jordan, who has been riding alongside her since she could sit on a horse, continues to be an integral part of Lisa’s life and passion for horses. Lisa's love for all animals is evident in every aspect of her life, and her commitment to continuous learning and improvement ensures Highland Ridge remains at the forefront of equestrian education and care.
